The North Sea spa Borkum GmbH has commissioned the production of beach ashtrays and is distributing them free of charge in cooperation with beach tent rental companies. They can also be picked up at the Tourist Information Center.

Furthermore, the Tourist Information has special small metal boxes with Borkum-print for €1,50. These can be conveniently slipped into a bag or backpack and used as a beach ashtray, and can be reused repeatedly.
