Would you like to discover the fascinating underwater world of the North Sea? Then come to Nordsee Aquarium, because here you can see the animals that live in the sea around Borkum live around. In 16 themed pools, cat sharks, cod, herring, sea bass, and many other fish swim. Plaice, sole, and turbot burrow into the sandy bottom, shore crabs and shrimp wander about, hermit crabs drag their snail shells, lobsters hide behind rocks, anthuriums wave their tentacles in the water, sea urchins nibble algae from the walls, and starfish crawl across the mussel bed.
