The varied offers are aimed at all island holidaymakers. Whether you are 6 or 66: everyone gets their money's worth with our beach animation. No prerequisites or previous knowledge are necessary to take part. Anyone can take part - and it's completely free! The costs are covered by the guest contribution. Beach animation The meeting point for all courses is on Südbad the beach volleyball net (left of the DLRG station), at Nordbad near the trampoline in the blue beach animation huts. Any necessary materials will be provided. During the winter months, the meeting point is at Gezeitenland ~ Water & Wellness.
Whether cardiovascular gymnastics, muscle training or Pilates: The animation program, which is led by the Gezeitenlands offers a comprehensive range of activities to suit every need. It starts in the early afternoon with beach gymnastics. Up to 100 beach holidaymakers take part every day. They enjoy the sport in the healthy sea air and the relaxing view over the North Sea. Motivated and enthusiastic animators guide the participants through the exercises and are happy to respond to the individual needs and preferences of the group - sometimes sporty and dynamic, sometimes playful and dance-like. Catchy music gets everyone going.
"Move your Body" has become the theme song for the beach entertainment. When the song starts playing, everyone knows that it's time for beach gymnastics again. Many holidaymakers take the opportunity to try something new during their holidays. That's why our varied entertainment program also includes training sessions for the stomach, legs and bottom, Nordic walking classes, as well as yoga, Pilates and Qi Gong courses.
The physical activity on the beach is similar to thalassotherapy. Thalassotherapy stimulates the metabolism, promotes blood circulation and increases the body's defences. By the way! Even with North German Schietwetter Beach entertainment will take place as far as possible. SPORT AM NORTH
The beach animation on Borkum The area will see a sporting increase this summer: "Sport am Nord" will expand the leisure activities on offer at [location name]. Nordbad significantly expanded. Locals and guests can enjoy a diverse entertainment and sports program free of charge from Monday to Saturday directly on the beach.
In addition to the already wide range of sports courses available for various fitness levels and difficulty levels, beach entertainer Marco Bieler and his team also offer sports equipment rental. Various balls, Viking chess, Mölkky, Spikeball, and boules are available for rent. Buckets and shovels are also included. Rental of the equipment is covered by the guest fee and is therefore free of charge.
A special highlight: Participants can experience the BorkumHe can acquire a sports badge, which can be recognized by health insurance companies as part of their preventive services.
