The North Sea island Borkum offers the little ones more space to play: romp until the Sandman comes
Actually, the whole beach is a gigantic playground for children. But the BorkumThey are especially fond of children. That's why there are additional playgrounds on the guarded beaches of the largest East Frisian island and in the island town.

From May to September, little ones can have fun at the playgrounds on the North, South, Youth, and Nudist beaches. There are swings, climbing frames, and seesaws, among other things. There are also public playgrounds in the city. Borkum on Deichstraße (at the height of von-Frese-Straße), on Moormerlander Straße, on Wilhelm-Feldhoff-Straße, and in the Kiebitzdelle dunes. And not only in bad weather is the Spielinsel a paradise for children! Running around, doing crafts or watching films, there are many things you can do here. There is a climbing room with bars and a climbing wall, but also creative rooms where children can let their imagination run wild and experiment with different materials and techniques.
For children, the Spielinsel free, adults pay 1,00 Euro.
Jumping with a view of the sea: This is possible on both the north and south beaches. There are outdoor trampolines on which children and the young at heart can jump to their heart's content. However, the children should be able to jump on their own. Each child only jumps on one of the ten fields. After five minutes, they switch.
The trampoline on the north beach is open from Easter to October, and on the south beach only during the summer holidays. 5 minutes of jumping costs 1,00 euros. A 12-jump pass costs 10,00 euros. Payment is only possible in cash.
