Children are in Gezeitenland~ Water and wellness are very welcome. To make the stay as smooth as possible for mom, dad and the little ones, here are a few tips.

Children pool
A separate children's pool offers ideal water fun for the youngest visitors. There are various aquatic animals available, which can also be taken into the large pool area.

stroller / buggy
Strollers, buggies, or sports cars are not permitted on the adventure deck. The changing rooms also do not offer sufficient space for these vehicles. Therefore, we ask that mom and dad leave strollers or similar items at reception. Erlebnisbad or under the stairs to Erlebnisbad (entrance to the wellness area).

Swim diapers (aqua diapers) can be Gezeitenland at the reception Erlebnisbad can be purchased.

family changing room
We have spacious family changing rooms at the back of the changing area. When entering the changing area, please keep to the left (along the window front) and nothing will stand in the way of a relaxed changing experience.

  • Children's swimming courses

    The test for the Seahorse swimming badge is an important moment for children and parents and there is great joy when the child is presented with the badge after 2 weeks of training. In our swimming courses, children are taught to swim in a playful way using the correct technique by qualified specialists.

    The requirements for this badge are as follows:

    • 25 meter breaststroke
    • jump from the edge of the pool
    • dive into shoulder-deep water and retrieve an object

    Other Information:

    • for children from 5 years
    • 120,00 € per child
    • Registration directly in Gezeitenland or by email at gezeitenland@borkum.de
    • Monday - Friday from 08:45 - 09:45

    For the Seahorse swimming course, it is important that the child goes into the water with the swimming instructors without a parent and is not distracted, so the children may only be accompanied into the pool on the day of the test.

    Fun and games in ErlebnisbadOn Tuesdays and Saturdays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, our little guests take center stage on the adventure deck. Water animals, pool noodles, and all sorts of other water toys leave nothing to be desired. Come by and see for yourself!

    Price:     regular admission prices from 5,00 euros

    Due to annual maintenance work, the games afternoons will not take place from 05.01.2026-16.01.2026.
