What did Borkum during the whaling era in the 17th and 18th centuries?

Borkum had its first golden age at the end of the 17th century. The prosperity lasted for about a hundred years. How did it come about that the BorkumDid they go whaling? This new themed tour will not only answer this question, but also explore how whaling changed the cultural and social life on the island.
