Following the evening mass, our guest priest Axel Huber (St. Wendel) invites you to

um 20:15 p.m. now Bibliolog in our church hall.

The Bibliolog session lasts approximately one hour, followed by an opportunity for in-depth discussion and reflection.

"Because everyone has something to say..."

A warm invitation to embark on a journey of exploration and discover Bible texts together through a Bibliolog.

Bibliolog is a way to explore a biblical story together with congregations, groups, young people, or school classes. Participants embark on a journey into the Bible, immersing themselves in biblical characters. In these roles, they fill the "spaces," the so-called "white fire" of the texts, with their own experiences and imagination by answering questions that remain open in the Bible. This gives them a vivid connection to the "black fire" of the text's words—what is written in black and white in the Bible—and allows them to discover the Bible's relevance to their lives today.

Bibliolog was discovered and developed by the Jewish North American Peter Pitzele, drawing on his knowledge of psychodramatics and literary studies, together with his Anglican wife Susan Pitzele, an anthropologist and TA trainer.

It is no coincidence that this approach was developed by a Jew (who is not a trained theologian): it corresponds to the rabbinic interpretation of the Midrash, according to which the texts of the Torah can be interpreted by creatively filling in their gaps.
