Would you like to discover the fascinating underwater world of the North Sea? Then come to Nordsee Aquarium Borkum!

In 16 themed tanks, visitors can observe approximately 100 species of animals and plants that live in the sea around the island. Catsharks, whiting, wrasse, sea bass, and many other fish swim around.

Plaice, sole and turbot burrow into the sand, shore crabs and shrimp wander around in search of food, lobsters show their impressive claws, anemones wave their tentacles in the water, sea urchins nibble algae from the walls, starfish crawl over the mussel bed.
