A choir workshop with Timo Böcking combines musical and thematic depth with the passionate joy of singing together – an offering aimed at both curious beginners and experienced choir singers. Knowledge of musical notation is helpful, but not required. The songs are from the HERZ+MUND project by Martin Buchholz and Timo Böcking. With catchy melodies in the language of our time, we will praise and thank God, pray and question, doubt and hope. We will celebrate the gift of life and set out with God's blessing.
The songbook “Heartbeats” is available for a small fee directly before the event.
On Sunday there will be a very musical church service entitled "Heartbeats". The plan is to sing approximately 10 songs from the workshops during the service.
Martin Buchholz will preach. The service will take place on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 10 a.m. in the Evangelical Lutheran Christ Church.
