About the Author
Anette Schäfer is happily married, mother of four grown children and lives with her family in Siegen at the southernmost tip of Westphalia.
Here, in 2017, she published her first crime novel with local color. Following the great success of her debut novel, two more crime novels set in the Siegerland region and a romance novel followed.
Since they have been spending their holidays on it for over 30 years Borkum Given that they spend time there, it makes sense that a detective duo from the Siegerland region would now investigate exactly where they always get their best ideas: on Borkum, the island of her dreams.
Besides her passion for writing, she prefers being on stage as a speaker and singer to being in the kitchen. She jogs, drinks tea – preferably East Frisian tea – and enjoys spending time with her large family.
