Ecumenical Peace Prayer – on the Catholic church square or in the church

Since 24 February 2022, the ecumenical congregations have been inviting Borkum every Friday evening (except Good Friday) at 19 p.m. on the Catholic church square between Wilhelm-Bakker-Straße and the Kirchstraße to the prayer for peace (in case of rain in the Catholic church).
It begins with a five-minute ringing of all the bells of the three island churches to send a visible and audible message against war and for peace in Europe, the Middle East and the whole world.
